"Image Resizer" is now "Light Image Resizer", free for personal use from http://www.obviousidea.com/windows-soft ... e-resizer/, and looks very straightforward.

Yes - this is the one that worked for me - I finally got there! 2 pics uploaded - thought I'd gone wrong once or twice but - hey presto - pictures of the oily underside of my guitar - fantastic! 8-)

To simplify this whole process, I've written an auto image resizer which will resized images as they're uploaded, see Auto Image Resizing.
