Anybody know about these?

This is a "t.c.electronic dual parametric equalizer" made in Denmark, serial number 476827.
t,c,electronic dual para. EQ.jpg

It seems to be in "new-old-stock" condition with the box but no manual found.
It belonged to my late friend Dave Frakes, who some of you would have met at the NESGF meetings up to 2015, and I'm trying to sell it, and other, musical stuff, for his widow.
A quick check on-line brought up a sale on Reverb 3 years ago with asking price of £160 (final sale price not known). There's one now on eBay USA at a buy-it-now in dollars = £293.06 and the condition of that one is in very rough condition by comparison (but their photo is better  ). But do these prices not seem excessive?
I've put a 9v battery in and it works, with very sensitive controls. It has dual parametric eq featuring two controls to centre on the two different, but slightly overlapping, frequencies. Then each has a control over the bandwidth affected and a cut/boost of -16dB to +16dB. Finally a gain and a cut/boost treble control and a switch labelled EQ.LIN. which seems to be a bypass switch. Mono 1/4in jack sockets for input & output and a mini jack socket (3.5mm?) for a 9v external power supply.
Any information (or offers) will be gratefully received. PM if you prefer.

Hi Tony,
I think those prices could be a wee bitty excessive.

TC make great quality equipment and I would imagine there will be purchasers out there for this particular EQ unit. It's got precise controls and a great build.

I recently had a gear clear out and put 9 items on auction (Ebay), all starting at 0.99p as I wasn't too sure how to price them. Sold the lot, and was happy with the sums involved for all the bits and bobs.

Good luck with the sale, that's a nice thing you are doing.

Thanks Danny, I appreciate your input. I'll probably do that, but may feel safer with a higher starting figure - only 'cos it's not mine to "give away" if the auction ends low.
Cheers, Tony. :guitar:

Thanks Pete that'll help a lot, 'cos it's quite tricky to sort out the EQ tweaks it's capable of (of which it is capable?).
