Bar Tenders! It's been a while but I've finally found a finally found a FREE venue for the continued adventures of our merry band of pickers. It's a small chapel in Bethnal Green, not the greatest parking situation but it's on the ground floor and whilst it won't be located perfectly for everyone, I'm hoping it will tick most of the boxes. There is a cafe on site. I think we'll continue with the Sunday 12-6pm slot. If you are not on the current email list (i.e. from the last meeting in January 2016) and would like to register your interest, please PM me your email address. I will be trying to thrash out a date for later this year over the next week or two.
The room is not big enough to accomodate last minute turner-uppers or casual observers so please get yourself (or your friend) on the list if you think you might like to attend.
I will be providing one pedal steel/seat/amp for a newbie, this will qualify us for free 'workshop' status with the people that run the place. More details on that nearer the time.
As usual I'm aiming for a mix of live backing from a singer, backing tracks and a healthy dose of education/discussion. Get in!
