Interesting Read (for us acolytes)

Came across this whilst surfing t'internet for anything that might help with my new 'Sigler' pedal (thanks Bob). Some good points. I realise it's specifying lap steel but same rules apply ;)

Good find, Danny.
I'm hoping to receive my new Ben-Rom with Sigler pedal in about a month or so.
Where have you put your pedal in relation to the other three - A,B,C, Sigler, or
Sigler, A,B,C? (Assuming an Emmons set-up.)
I'm trying to determine whether there are any musical or specific steel-playing benefits from being able to bring either the A or C pedal into action in combination with the Sigler pedal. Obviously the C pedal offers 2 raises while the A pedal offers only one. However, there may be all sorts of reasons why one should - or shouldn't!

It's ABC Sigler for me Nick. (Emmons setup)
I'm still trying to find my way with it, so I can't be very helpful as yet. But it is proving more useful to me, as opposed to the franklin I had. Check out the rest of that guy's blog, some great stuff.
