Can't wait for it to be available on Freeview, I'm with Virgin at the moment so, unfortunately, cant get it.
From the comments it sounds great, keep up the good work. Hopefully one day I'll get access to it.

John, is there any fixed date yet for this channel coming to Freeview? Also if it does will it be available to all with Freeview? I was told that you would have to be on the Internet to even receive this, is that right?

Good Morning Uncle Roy. No date for Freeview transmission yet. All relevant applications have been made, all relevant fees have been paid and we are waiting for a response from Ofcom who are not the fastest! When transmission starts, it should be available to all who have Freeview. The shows are also available via the Keep it Country website. Will post here as and when I know more.

Dear All. At long last it has been announced that Keep It Country TV will begin broadcasting on Freeview channel 87 on 1st June. Classic Country goes out on Tuesdays at 1830. I hope you think that it is worth the wait.

Has anyone been able to receive this channel yet on the normal Freeview channel?
I tried my channel 78 but it's not available to our TV device. We were told it would start June 1st.

Hi Roy.
The channel is broadcast on channel 87 on Freeview HD but not in standard definition. If like me, you have an older TV set, which although it may be "HD ready" is not a full HD set, you will be unable to receive it. I have friends with newer sets who have no problems. Maybe it's worth buying a new set just to watch KiC tv. Then again......

Although I've seen a lot of the clips on youtube, it's great that you're still giving the steel a lot of exposure and prominence on the programme.
Good to see Rudy Osborne with Dottie West last night. I remember him playing that white MSA at Wembley with her.
He's a great player, equally good on both necks.
Also last night there was Jerry Bird miming badly to Hal's playing on one clip. I think he was just making up the numbers.

Keep'em coming John, the programme is about the best on there. The one after, Country Jamboree can be quite good as well steelwise.
