I'm very sorry to hear John is unwell. I have never met him but we have exchanged messages on the US SGF a few times and I always found him to be a friendly guy. I hope he makes a full recovery soon.

Update on John, he has now been in intensive care for twelve days unable to breathe without machine aid has kidney failure and pneumonia. Your thoughts and prayers are welcome and we are all thanked for our concern. So sorry I don't have any better news.

Sorry to hear that John. Sad news indeed. I think I met John at one of your Great Barford sessions. Nice man, my thoughts are with him and his family.

That is very distressing news about John, he is a nice guy.

John's ventilation arrangements weren't working too well, so they operated on him again, I understand he is breathing better now, but is still being kept under to fight the pneumonia and to give the aneurysm repair a chance to knit I think. They still don't know if his kidneys were damaged by the interruption of the blood supply in the original surgery, so he remains on dialysis. More as I get it. He's tough, but is very ill.

I've had a few cups of tea in the Roche House! (One at 3.00am!) So to say I am vexed for J & M would be an understatement, as has been said John is a fighter and if anybody can pull through he can.
Will, I'm not sure if you are in direct contact but if so pass my (our) concerns, thoughts and prayers for them at this time and wish them the very best!
