Yep, he was a great singer and a very nice guy too wasn't he Dave. I like his sense of humour. I played the Peterborough Festival on the same bill as Kenny many years ago. He was on just before us, and did an absolutely storming set, featuring City Lights as an encore. It was a great number then in those days, and I said to him that if there was any justice in this life it would chart. He just laughed and said that Scouse singers had had their day in the charts.
A lovely man and a real loss to UK country music.
