Hello Ken, what an absolute joy it was to have your attendance at our monthly bash, it was very thoughtful of you to break your holiday to come and join us in Gartcosh.
It was a treat to listen to you play, and as you mentioned on the night, it is interesting to hear different peoples approach to the same song.
It certainly would be different hearing my slant on things, as I play in the style of Les Dawson and Eric Morecame.....all the right notes, just not in the right order...still, I enjoy it.

No - you play well Willie, except when you are told there is a phantom key change in the number. That's the only time I heard you slip into Les Dawson mode, and you did it brilliantly. It was very funny for us (sorry).

It was a great craic that evening, and I reckon the social side is as important as the playing.

Well thanks indeed Donny. The pleasure was all mine. To hang around you guys for the evening was a real treat I can tell you. That evening in Gartcosh was the icing on the cake of my trip to Scotland I can tell you. If I lived closer I would be there every month. I like the way that the newer players are given a lot of encouragement. As a meeting it is really well organised.
