Just browsing you tube, and was reminiscing about Johnny Loughrey, Originally from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, within a few miles of my mother, Johnny came to England and lived just a few hundred yards from me in Manchester, i first gigged with him when i was 18, when i was cutting my teeth on lead guitar, re joined his band on lead and steel in the 90's, I last gigged with him some 6 years ago, not too long before Johnny lost his battle with the big 'C' , he had a unique voice, and packed the dance halls in England, Scotland, Wales and especially Ireland for many years, always a stickler for good recording and good image, a real pro, a great loss to country music, i thought i'd post this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZbrdrSHhfU
