I know I don`t say this often enough, cos there is always something else to say when I have got the mic in my hand (like keep it down!! your all too bl$$£Y loud!! ) BUT, without Sandra there would be no meeting! simple as that...... She slogs away in the kitchen making teas & coffee`s for all but what you guys probably don`t realise is she is the brain behind the whole thing! she organises me completely, and if you`all knew how little my input is compared to her..I think you would give her a medal!...... I think when it comes down to facts even Ron and Margret do more than me! anyway, every one I do ,I think will be the last..... but if it does go on>>>>Thank Sandra.

Proposed Running order for Sunday Evening 23rd.Jan.

This is not written in stone so could well be subject to alteration.

If I have missed you out I apologise it was not intentional but as far as I am aware these are the people that have asked for an evening playing slot. (6.30 onwards>>) This is an extremely hard row to hoe! So please make allowances for the pressures involved…. J

6-30pm Rod King/Rosemary/Digby Hardy until
7-00pm Basil and Pat until
7-30 Bob Adams /poss. Ted if he feels inclined?? Until
7-50 Richard Burton until
8-10 Dunny until
8-30 Dave Kirk / Derek Thurlby until

I hope you guys that can play will help the newbies out between 3pm until 4-30 after that time we only want to hear ONE STEEL GUITAR AT A TIME!!! Between 4-30 and 6-30 the intermediate players will (hopefully) all get a chance to play either with tracks or with the band and I intend to try and play at least one number (or maybe two myself…….OK? J

There will be a table set up for those that want to sell steel related equipment…if you make a sale I would like you to make a donation to the BSS from the proceeds. (5% would be very nice.)

I will also be running a raffle in support of the PDH centre in Africa and the family I sponser,it is a small charity and a worthy cause please support it you donations will get where they are needed with nothing taken out apart from the transfer fee
