Basil is going into hospital tomorrow for yet another op on his right hand. Good luck with it Baz and hope you will be playing as good as ever once you are over it. :guitar: :guitar:

Basil just rang me and says the operation went well and looks like being a complete success. He had a load of non disolvable stitches left in the epidermis of his hand from the last op that were left in by mistake, so they had to go in and dig around to remove them. Make the eyes water just to think about it. :o :o

Basil has sent me an email today that contained the following message.

Basil Henriques wrote: Re: The Carpal Tunnel, it’s just from old age and being a bit obese. Rather than RSI it’s just developed according to my surgeon. Anyway the corrective surgery has now been done, now pain free and the numbness and tingling has gone and my sensitivity returned. The stitches come out (properly) this Friday and then I will set about teaching my hand its muscle memory all over again...

Let's hope that Baz is back to full form shortly. It must be a nightmare for any musician to lose the facility of either hand. :o
