Yep, and one step away from polypropylene, that they make wheelbarrows from, food containers and garden waste bins. :o :o

If someone offered to swap me a Rainsong plastic guitar for my wood bodied Martin D45, I would tell them where they could put it and which end first!! :P   :D :guitar:

Geoff
You've got some great pickers up there in Scotland, and they are generous in swapping info and helpful tips. :D

For sure Ken, plenty of helpful advice on the night, great crack and some great playing. Just watching how the guys were approaching the instrument was really helpful, confirmed for me that I really need to work on my volume pedal control. Trouble I have is that I'm concentrating so hard on getting all the right notes in the right order that I forget about using the volume pedal. Donny showed us how he uses the pedal and gave some good advice on how to improve that side of things. Think I'll need to sit and practice using it so that it starts to become 2nd nature.

Anyway, a big thanks to all the guys for a really enjoyable night :D

Cheers Danny, was impressed with your playing and sound :D .

You mentioned the other night how addictive playing pedal steel becomes, I haven't stopped playing at every opportunity since Tuesday night :guitar:

When I first started playing there were many times I thought to myself - I must be completely mad to want to play this instrument - after meeting the guys on Tuesday night I came to the conclusion that I was in good company ;)

Geoff, it was a great night on Tuesday and it was great to meet you and put a face to the name, it was a real treat to hear your playing and you joined in on most of the tunes
it was also good to see Stan there as well,It just goes to show how small the world is, My first guitar was an Emmons Student model which I traded up for my Black Rock 10
Stan was the next person to own that Emmons Student guitar, as the yanks would say....who'd a thunk it
Stan also showed no fear, I offered him a seat at my little geetar and he took me up on the offer and played in 2 of the tunes..great stuff eh!
The next night is due to be a bonfire night, I think they want to burn my guitar, these generally turn out to be great nights ...not to be missed

Awrabestfurnoo Geoff
