Hello

Postby Danny Mitchell » Wed Aug 27, 2014 11:44 am

After lurking around for over a year, whilst attending the monthly get togethers of the SSGW in Gartcosh, I've finally decided to come out of the closet.

I'm Danny and I'm a (wannabe) pedal steel guitarist.

And I'd like to thank the gentlemen of the above mentioned SSGW for their help and encouragement, not to mention great company, and also the creators and contributors of this forum for the mine of information they've made available to newbies like me. Thanks guys.

A big welcome to you Danny.
You couldn't have mixed with a better crowd of guys there in Scotland, oh apart from the Bristol boys.
Hope in time you will contribute with words to this forum. We need feedback.

WELL, WELL, WELL, OUT OF THE CLOSET AT LAST,  NICE TO SEE YOU HERE DANNY. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW HIM, DANNY IS ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE YOU COULD POSSIBLY MEET, WHEN HE STARTED LAST YEAR HE WAS A COMPLETE NEWBIE, HE SOAKS UP INFORMATION LIKE A SPONGE, LAST NIGHT HE ARRIVED WITH BRAND NEW, BRIGHT, SHINY, GFI ULTRA KEYLESS, HE THEN PROCEEDED TO DO A BETTER JOB OF SWEET MEMORIES THAN I DID. GOOD ON YOU DANNY.

Danny you are my hero, not only have you picked one of the most difficult instruments to master, but you are progressing at an alarming rate, so much so that if you don't behave and slow down ,we will have to have a stern word with the heavies
Weel done Danny
