Thank you all so much for coming along.
Thank you for you comments here, and the private emails too.
Without you, it isn't possible, and I hope you like the presentation making you all participate from the outset.
You are all very talented, and next year I will prepare similar material, maybe giving you a bit more notice of the song choices, and the way I would like them played. I could see, after about an hour, you was ALL learning the tuition, and hearing you all play individually, in an organised way later in the day, backing vocalists, and taking lead breaks, and finally, all playing together at the end of the songs was truly amazing for me.
I loved it, and it seems you all did too.

Hey, I will soon work on the Dropbox invitation for those who signed up for online tuition.
Chilling out tonight as I am pretty shattered.

I was so hoping to get the aerial photo of us all, but the weather put a stop to the drone helicopter flight over the hall.

Next time...

Derek Thurlby's instrumentals were fantastic, and Borrowed Angel almost bought me to tears, it was the best I've ever heard it played..

Check out Jons photos, they are just great...

Be in touch soon..

PS.. You can contact me anytime if you decided to join the online tuitional shared folder.

Well done David, it was a great day, we're all very lucky that there is a community of steel players that want to get together and you seem to be the perfect ring leader. More please.

John, great photos mate.

All the best

Hear-hear - it was great to see/meet/hear all of you, and learn a thing or two! Certainly a few things to be getting on with. I'm also, for the first time, happy I've got a full tone lower on the 2nd string (no more complaining about how hard it is to find the half-stop!).

Cheers all, especially to David for putting it on, a really good day!

Well done Dave, you've obviously got a great talent for teaching.
The Steel Guitar community needs you to keep it going.

Good lad.
