I was sorry to hear that Davie Holland had been in hospital and wanted to wish him well. I managed to speak to Davie when I saw his band Blackstone River at Marston Moretaine and then a couple of months later at Tring. As a relative new comer to the Steel guitar it was a pleasure to meet a true professional of our instrument.

A thousand thanks to all my Steel Guitar friends and I hope you all have a fabulous year ahead. I must thank all those who posted the kind comments about me as it made an old man very happy indeed and it made me think I must try harder And keep this meetings running for a long time yet.
