Damaged ligaments and tendons.

Well I bet some of you have been relieved by my silence. Sorry but I'm back!
I've had some problems with my right arm and it has proved to be a blessing in disguise although a very painful one. Tony you be pleased to note that the right wing doesn't stick out to the side as much and also I have been using the finger picks more and more. Still not completely happy using them, but I do recognize the difference in the tone and the stronger volume on the 1st and 2nd strings. So I suppose there could be a moral somewhere in all this maybe "for every misfortune there is always an upside". My neighbours must have been pleased by the lack of noise but now I'm well on my way to a good recovery and am playing the Fields of Athenry as if I hadn't been away from the LS.

Hi Tony,
Well someone said in the village it was age related...typical retort from a French Octogenarian. But in all honesty it was a stupid error on my part, so no complaints. The playing is getting more consistent with the picks as you said it would, but I still end up at times murdering a cat. One day the murders will all be in the past.
