Stage One arrived!

After a longish wait, my Zumsteel (kinda) Stage One has arrived! And what a fine instrument it is too! Certainly a step up from the unbranded 70s student model I had a few years ago! Thanks to Doug Ernest! I can't believe they let them go for the price they do. Unfortunately it's the shipping, import duty and VAT etc that push the price up, but even then it still feels like I got a good deal.

Got my Hilton volume pedal (thanks Johndavisstringshere!), got my Roland Cube 80x, got my Neunaber Stereo Wet reverb... however, alas, the tone bar I ordered has been lost in the post for a couple of weeks, along with my finger picks, so I'm waiting for the official time to pass before the sellers can claim with the PO and send me new ones.

When I can play it a little bit, I'll update with some more details. I've had to try it out with a glass tealight holder this morning so, needless to say, at the moment it's not sounding as great as a it will!

I think I may be able to find a standard BJS bar and some old pics that would get you started for 40 quid plus postage...

Not to worry then. Thank you anyway. Tomorrow's the last day before they declare it lost so they'll hopefully be posting me a new one Saturday. Oh well, looks like my first weekend with my steel will not be playing it properly! Although, I guess that was a given anyway, ha ha.
