ZB Amps

Postby henrybainbridge » Sat Apr 06, 2013 1:03 pm

I think someone posted an old ad for ZB amps on here recently but I can't find it now. It spurred my curiosity though.

Does anyone know anything about these amps? I'm assuming that Eric Snowball imported some when he was bringing in the ZB steels? Where they any good? Are there any still floating around?

Hallo Henry :D
It was I who put the ad. for ZB amps on the Forum, Eric gave me a load of catalogues before the shop closed
this February , sad indeed, the end of an era ! :(
He only got two amps over and was'nt impressed with them, he did some customising but still was'nt happy and
that was the end of ZB amps in this country, what happened to them even Eric don't know !!
Here's the ads. again for you.
All the best

Ah, nice one. To be honest the leaflet looks more exciting than the amp! My D-10 looks like a piece of art while that amp looks like something rescued from a soviet bloc karaoke bar.
Guess I'll banish any fantasies of reuniting my ZB with it's namesake amp.
