here's a clip of Steamhead Trappers playing on the Bandstand in the Olympic Park last Saturday.
we had two sets, one at 12:30 one at 5:30. this was the 5:30.. think there was a bit of beer in the system by the time this was recorded!

yeah the stage was awesome! some sort of protoype that they're planning to manufacture in different sizes.
made by the same people that did the millennium bridge

it's inflatable but has a 27 ton base..

the acoustics on stage were great, really clear (mind you i've never really played on a stage that big anyway) and it projected the sound brilliantly

and like you say, looks like a massive shark!

I was playing through a Marshall JCM 900 High Gain Dual Reverb!
cos the guitarist bagged the Fender Twin

The stage reminds me of a space ship, although I can see the shark thing too. sounds like you had a good ballanced sound among the band, most important in the open air.
