I visited a site recently and got a message telling Me I had four serious viruses and to click on a button to clear them.
I have very good virus protection which did not detect anything and I did a scan of My machine which showed nothing.
A lot of these messages ar scammers who then ask for money to clean Your machine,they actually do nowt and come back at a later date asking You to upgrade.
If You do'nt already have anti virus protection You could download windows defender free and do a scan every now and then.

Yes I had one from a member here, but I don't think it was sent from him, and it was the same one about slimming pills.

I had one from ' Ken Byng'. with copies to all sorts of websites I have recently visited. I dumped it immediately.I didn't think Ken would be trying to sell slimming pills to me although after looking at myself in the mirror this morning...............

If these were PMs sent via the forum could you please give me some more information and I'l look into it.

If they were emails from another member, then the chances are that you were in their address book and if it's a hotmail / yahoo email address it has probably been compromised. You should let them know ASAP.

The Carter is once again on the market,due to time wasters on Gumtree,it has been deleted .

This is a superb steel,but is wasted on me because it just stays in the case,i just need a SD10 and a decent 6 string guitar as a swap,just to do the few gigs i have.

Please no more offers to buy my steel for less than £1500 ,i will only sell it for what i am asking or still do a trade with my Carter in a PX for a SD10 or a Universal any make as long as it`s ok.and a decent electric guitar it is NOT for sake only for what i am asking.It is a real nice steel well worth what i am asking.

Ok i am now being told i am asking too much for my steel i paid nearlly £2000 from Ted last year so i thought it was a good price i was asking for such a good steel,and because i have had no interest in a trade, i will not bother anymore.

Because i am starting to lose interest in playing,I thought i would give it one more try,this steel is a real beauty,but i have no steel work for nearlly 4 month,and it seems a shame that such a nice guitar will just stay in it`s case untill the next gig.

So i am still interested in taking a decent 12 String uni or a decent SD10 only as a PX for this real nice steel, and it may help to get my interest back if i got a new toy to play with.
