Had a great time again this year.
David H. was awesome as usuall playing his Sho-Bud for the last time prior to the final bid on ebay and I must admit to being envious of the tone that Jim Pritchard gets out of his ZB through his Evans amp. Also good to see Thijs Kappen (GFI Universal) from Holland. J.D was first rate as always playing his Emmons (Blondie??). Many thanks to Digby and his support crew or should that be many thanks to the support crew and oh! yes not forgeting Digby . The dinner was very good...
ps I managed to come away without my steel seat . So if any one picked up an extra bench stool many thanks & I'll collect it next time...

It was a pleasure to meet up with you again and be entertained with your playing as well as your running commentaries on life, people and cooking.

So it was YOUR guitar seat - we couldn't work out who's it was from the indented arse impression. Ron Kew has it.

Well SESGF 2012 is over - and a great success it was.

Thanks to all, players and supporters, for their support.

Also a special thanks to the techies who ran light and sound and the catering team who poroduced a wonderful dinner.

FOR YOUR DIARIES: SESGF 2013 is set for the weekend of 25 & 26 May 2013. This time there will be a Bank Holiday Monday following on. The hall at Long Ashton has been booked.

For those of you interested in get togethers before May 2013 there's the North of England Steel Guitar Festival in August and the Chanos International Steel Guitar Festival in September
