I'm sure Derek will forgive you. Thank you for posting these videos Slim. You're a fine player yourself. It's a pity you don't play so much nowadays as you say.

I only started going to Newbury in 1990. However Roy Campbell (acerod) lent me a video of Buddy playing at an earlier festival. It must have been 1985 although the year 1988 is stuck in my head for some reason. In any case, it inspired me to work as hard as possible on the instrument.
