There's a whole concert on Youtube, she plays Dobro on a few tracks but these were the stand out tracks for me on pedal steel.

Good to see Georgie Fame ...... like many he has improved with age! Sweet touch on the Hammond too!

Cheers Bob, always been a fan of Van, he seems to have mellowed out a bit these days.

If there could only be two keyboard sounds, for me it would be a Hammond and a Fender Rhodes, especially with Georgie Fame sitting behind them.

Back in the 80's I worked for a while for a sound and lights installation company in Edinburgh, we were always busy during the Edinburgh festival. One night I got called out to fix a lighting system problem at a venue. When I arrived I discovered that the venue was hosting a Northern England bands show, the concert was the following night and all the bands were going through rehearsal.

When I arrived Lindisfarne were playing, next up was Georgie Fame, he was playing an old upright piano with all the panels removed. He was accompanied by his son playing electric jazz guitar, what a performance. I finished sorting out the lights and went up to the bar to have a pint, Georgie Fame finished his act, came up and sat beside me at the bar and ordered up a pint. There was just me and Georgie Fame sitting together at the bar having a pint. It was a real thrill for me and I was a bit overwhelmed. Hard to believe it was over 30 years ago.

I caught her on tour with Van the man, and even though it was before I started playing myself, I was mightily impressed with her obviously huge and lovely abilities
The clips of her playing Mansion On The Hill and City Lights are well worth a swatch, too

That would have been worth going to see, not sure if he is still touring, think I'll check it out.

The guy playing fiddle is really good too, think he's an Irish fellow.

Interesting stuff and it aint even country, whatever view one holds on Sarah no one can deny she plays well, not sure how much musical direction was put into the parts played but she nails it totally, brilliant feel and use of pedal steel.
I guess this will sound strange but for me she plays and sounds like a Yank something that a lot of us Brits have never achieved.
