Big Jim Murphy is in the steel seat on Paycheck's live album above. Many people won't know this, but Johnny Paycheck was a very good pedal steeler in his own right. Here is an early shot from 1961 with Paycheck on steel behind Buck Owens. Paycheck was known as Donny Young for a spell from 1960, but his real name was Donald Lytle. I reckon that Paycheck was one of the top country singers ever. 8-)
