Postby GuitarMathew » Sat Jun 11, 2016 8:04 pm

This is my first pedal steel convention with friends and family. Yup I was very nervous, sorry about all the mistakes I made but here is a short video from me! Hope you like it :) (November 2015)

Hi Mathew,
That looks like a good setup that you and your steelie friends have got together. I thought you played very well, especially when you were accompanying the singer :guitar:
I take it some of the other gents are more experienced players? I hope they are as encouraging and helpful as I have found the steelie community here to be. Nothing will bring you on quicker than playing with other musicians and having to think on your feet.
Keep it up :guitar:
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

It is always daunting playing in front of other steelies but you pulled it off mate. Your confidence will build no end the more you do it. Keep going. Well done.
