This is a cover of a number from The Shadows. I've been playing this for years on guitar and thought I would give it a go on steel. I think it worked. I found a Shadows midi of the backing and left it as it was.

Another great job Mick. Funnily enough, I was listening to this track in my car this week and thought I would give it a go on steel and resonator. I used to play this tune as a teenager on guitar, and have always thought that it is a nice composition.
Your version is very tasty.

Thanks for the comments folks.
Ken. Still do your version and put it here. It would be great to see how you interpret it, and with your experience I am sure that I will find some tips especially with those counterpoint moves that you do. I shall seriously have to get some of those into my playing.

Lovely stuff. There are some great shadows numbers which would work well on pedal steel. Wonderful Land & Atlantis spring to mind.

Sweet melody, Mick. I hadn't heard that before. It sits so well on the steel. Also really enjoyed your last lap post of the Tom Morrell track, right up my street. Thanks and keep 'em coming.
