On his day, this guy is as good as anyone. This clip has been on YouToob for a few years, but it's worth a listen. C6 at its best. He blew top of the bill Paul Franklin's version away at the Dallas Show a few years ago, when Steve was on the undercard and the two of them included this number in their sets. Steve is very finicky about his tone, which is huge and rich - just as I like it personally. He absolutely idolises Buddy Emmons and it shows.
