Received Mike Johnson's new CD 'Almost Midnight' this week, 10 superb tracks, a must for any steel guitarist collection. Just be aware, I got stung for another
£11-41 for tax,handling etc. when it arrived this side of the pond.

I too,received this CD,Mike is a superb player and a really nice guy.
I did not pay any duty or handling.
I have,many times,purchased CD's from the U.S. and have nver paid duty,I guess You were very unlucky.
Mike put the value on the declaration at $15 which is about £10,I have been led to understand that they do'nt bother too much if the value is below $40,I received a package last week valued at $50 and did not pay anything.
The post office get a nice fee of about £9 for doing the paperwork on small imported items,I guess they are looking to up theur income.Billy
