Last two tracks of the Bob Collum's latest EP "The Ungrateful Depression" were recorded on Sunday.

Very nice. I like the tone you are getting. Is that your GFI? Are you using any effects on it? I think I hear a chorus/flanger, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Thanks for the kind words.

Not much work with Bob Collum at the moment, nothing in London until late Sept.
Mainly sitting in with Jamie Williams' Roots Collective the next couple of months, pretty much all in the wilds of Essex.
I'll post if any more London gigs come in.
I have a gigs page here

Yes it's the GFI, the only steel I own. I'm happy with the tone I get with it. We essentially record tracks live in the studio then just redo vocals. I record the GFI through Hilton VP to a Digitech DL8 set for a hint of slap back delay, then a Digitech DV7 to add a little plate reverb on to my ZT Lunchbox amp which is close mic'd, a SM57 on this track. This gives me a reasonably full clean sound on the recorded track. When we mix more effects are added. Not sure what effects are on this mix, we did this track last November. I think on Primer it was mainly additional delay, on other tracks we have used amp emulation / distortion effects. I don't think there's any flanger/chorus type effect added.
