South Sea Company

I was at an old friends funeral today, becoming too frequent these days unfortunately. There were a lot of musicians there that I had played with or knew through the gig scene. There were a few guys there who had a band called The South Sea Company who I had recorded some pedal steel for on a few of the tracks on their last album. Out of curiosity I had a listen back to it as I hadn't listened to them since they were recorded. One of the guys plays some lap steel on the tracks and I had to fit in the pedal steel so it complimented what he had already recorded. I think the 2 instruments work really well together.

So here they are, for your listening pleasure :guitar:

Thanks guys. They were recorded quite a long time ago and I hadn't really listened to them since the recording session, was pleasantly surprised. It was just after I had bought my MSA so was probably around 2017. Listening back, I like the contrast between the lap and the pedal steel, will give that a try on some of my recordings.
