It is a young Steve Palousek Tony. An incredible player - among the highest echelon of pedal steel players, and a quiet but deep thinking man who has had his troubles in life. He is possibly the best steeler outside of Nashville.
I would say this is the equal of Buddy Emmons' version of Night Life, not better as Buddy created it. Steve's tone is exemplary.

Posted: Mon Oct 02, 2023 9:45 amLet us not forget the late great Bobby Flores on the fiddle. Fantastic singer, fiddle player, guitar player, Pedal steel player - in fact a great allrounder. Has won awards for his record productions and was always willing to give other players a chance. Died in 2022 and a great loss to the music industry. RIP Bobby.

Posted: Mon Oct 02, 2023 2:50 pmYou are so right there Mick I have loved all his music even tried to get the Yellow Rose Band over here but they needed minimum 3 gigs and I could only get then one. Both Bobby and Randy gone now, Bobby played great steel as well as number 1 fiddle.
