Alternative Steel album

Postby Haddock » Sat Oct 01, 2022 3:53 pm

Hi folks
In case anyone is interested in listening to pedal steel in a different genre from what usually appears here, I’ve just bitten the bullet and put my album on bandcamp. Its mainly live steel into a looper and there were quite a lot of edits and post production tricks but it might interest someone.
Cheers
Calum

I thoroughly enjoyed this album, Calum.
Remarkable, too, considering the tracks are mainly live performances.
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

Thanks guys, particularly Chris. Really nice when someone you dont know likes something as theres always a risk that friends are being polite. Even multitalented expert friends like Geoff and Danny!

 Actually I was just being polite, tbh I thought that the whole album sadly lacked the inclusion of a banjo 8-)

Just kidding Calum, very much enjoyed listening to it, more power to your right hand :D

Sorry for offence caused Mr Swearengen! I know your sincerity is genuine. That Jif’s a slippy one though……
Having seriously good fun with Bandcamp and I recommend it for anyone wanting to put their music on the web with no fuss. The ‘Stats’ page is very interesting and shows how many complete or partial listens you get plus lots of other stuff.
