Thanks boys! And I hope you're bearing up Geoff, I hope so as I don't think I could face doing another version of Albatross (nor could anyone else face me doing it either). Yes, regarding the perspective, my wife's younger days swinging from the chandelier came in handy there. As regards my invasion of the USA, yes I do have a few admirers (a lot more than I have closer to home). As I've mentioned before, not building my own steel guitar seems to have put me at a disadvantage here: but then Roger Federer doesn't make his own racquets, so I guess I can be content with that. I have got some old pallets in my garden though, so maybe I could knock one up and see if that gets me a few more fans.

I'm not convinced that another of my Albatrosses would speed up anyone's recovery! Maybe some Stockhausen?

Don't think Stockhausen would do it Gary, it would remind me too much of being in intensive care, where I was hooked up to a 19" rackmount full of monitoring equipment each giving off there own particular beeps, buzzes and bell sounds, compounded by the rhythmic breathing of the air bed. Interesting mix of sounds though from the monitoring gear, the sounds on the older units were obviously written by the remnants of the hippie generation and had sounds very much like tubular bells, they also had a strange after echo effect that faded exponentially. The more modern units had very efficient and I have to say annoying sounds designed to grab your attention, I suppose they did give an edge to the overall symphony counteracting the cool hipness of the bell sounds.

There was one point all the same where the interaction of the beeps, bells and buzzes sounded remarkably like a machine generated version of Albatross, or was that the drugs
