The Blessed John (patron saint of The BSS) Davis' comment about not letting the forum 'die on its arse' compelled me to get off mine and upload some content.

They're backing tracks, that contain steel. That I've put together for recording my sons singing some of their favourite songs. I've already posted the completed, 'Drinking Dark Whiskey' but these others are awaiting vocals and a final mix.

This was straight into Reaper on the PC, with perhaps, a hint of reverb, using my BJS bar.

This was through an American Sound pedal, on overdrive, with Basil's bar again.

This was done with no picks, using Basil's bar and through an American Sound pedal.

This is the finished article, just in case anyone missed it.

These are all examples of an old man playing with himself in the bedroom, they can't touch you for it.

Danny you have nothing to be humble about, the first couple of offerings someone should grab for a western movie sound track great stuff! the one with the knife got a bit gory for me but the last track sure got my toes tapping that was really good, I liked the sound of the reverb on the vocal was that a "Reaper" effect?

Thanks John. That's an old style slapback echo and a wee bit of plate reverb on the vocal. It's a mix of Reaper and other effects. I'm just trying to catch that sound of yesteryear. They'll make more sense when I get the boys to add the vocals.

Just wondering, can anyone make out what the songs are?
