As you know, Zak has been waxing lyrical about the U12 of late, and why shouldn't he...it's allowed. My contribution to this deeply important yet totally pointless debate can be found here.

V Cool, Gary. I do enjoy the depths these Universals can get to.

I think you meant the depths I can get to!

Nice playing, G. Was this an improvisation?

Thanks Z

Yes, of course, improv is my curse, and my gift, but really my curse (in a gift kind of way).

Glad you're playing a U12 though...it'll be the making of you like it was for me (Ha!)

Haha G, I don't know what it is exactly about the U12, but it does lend itself very well to jazz improvisation and obviously more abstract/atonal types of music.. I've not recorded much in the past 4 months and that's partly because I've been having so much fun just working on my improv.
"Miles Davis - So What" sounds great on U12. I might have to make a video one day.

You need to read my last 2 books...(Google them).

Actually, you probably don't.

But the last one does have a nice chapter on Miles.

Keep at it, and try and think outside of such categories (country and jazz especially)...the U12 is the future!!

Trust me.
