Thanks Ken! One of the more difficult songs I've tried!

I'm going to have a go at it on my Emmons C6 neck. I think I have a track for it somewhere.

I bet it will sound great on your Emmons! If you record it, it would be great to take a listen.

Oh yes Zak :guitar:
That was well worth waiting for. Love those raked chords and the lowdown, dirty, bass notes. Your Uni is sounding great.
A couple of asides; is the interjecting 6 string (very nice, too) an ES125?, and, I guess you aren't planning gigging in any Satanist Workingwizard's Clubs anytime soon?
Forgot to say, thank you for the post :guitar:

Zak - don't know if you've come across Steve Palousek's version of Night Life. Obviously Buddy's version is par excellence, but Steve's version is just as stunning. His tone is killer, as is his choice of notes. He does more than tip his hat to the Big E's version, but when Steve's playing takes flight in the ad lib section of the blues solo, well...... it's jaw drop time. See what you think of this astonishing recording.

Ken, that is a really exellent version by Steve. Probably the 2nd best I've heard, only behind Buddy...

Thanks Danny! The guitar is an ES-225. Quite an obscure model with the 1952-style trapeze tailpiece.. And it depends how much satanist workingwizard clubs pay! ;)

Thanks Zak, wasn't aware of that model, nice!

There's another great version (Mike Johnson, with a vocal) on a tribute to Buddy video.
