Cripple Greek

Hi All

Having not recorded anything since last May (thanks to Covid and good ole Brexit) I started getting back into it today. Here's the first tentative result. My wife thought the guitar part sounded Greek (??) hence the title. For the record, the relatively straightforward guitar head is infernally difficult on the steel. Not that that makes it any good, but just so you know.

Enjoy!

Gary

Liking this Gary. My first thoughts were it sounded very CSN&Y. I can hear what your wife means re the Greek guitar.

Thanks Geoff. CSNY ...hadn't thought of that. Detuned E-string on the acoustic might be a bit Stills I guess.

Hi Gary, it was more the feel of it that reminded me of CSNY, although it does sound quite like Guinevere which is actually CSN. Whatever, really enjoyed listening to it :D

Thanks Steve and Geoff

Well, whatever, I was absolutely obsessed with CSN's first album...so maybe I've never shaken that off. As for my technique...thanks Steve, I'm working at it, some days it seems to be going somewhere, other days not...you know how it is.
