I was aiming for super-cool, but at least cool is a step in the right direction: I guess I thought wearing Converse shoes would be enough, but there you go!!

Try some slip-on Vans, Gary... I wear them when I play, but I don't show my feet in my videos, so I don't benefit from the coolness boost.

What does your pedal 7 do btw?

Thankfully, my Mum taught me how to tie my own laces (a couple of years back now)...so no need for slip-ons. OK, I'm just being macho now.
