When I was learning to play the guitar in the '60s Eric Clapton was God, not only that but in the London blues clubs of the time he was actually referred to as 'God.' Times have moved on and there are new gods no doubt but his live version of Crossroads lives on as one of the great performances. I decided to revisit my past and do my own little version with a bit of added PSG for good measure. I think it sounds quite nice. Blues meets C&W!!

Very cool, Gary! The solo steel sections are reminiscent of some of Sneaky Pete's solos with The Flying Burrito Bros.

One of my favourite recordings of Sneaky Pete is on 'Six Feet of Snow' on Little Feat's 'Down on the Farm' album ...it would be nice if I really was that good...which I'm not.
