I saw the light ( Sony Movies )

Postby Mcneilwaeasteel » Mon Aug 10, 2020 9:49 pm

Tom Hiddleston stars as Hank Williams in this biopic of Hank, there is bound to be a steel guitar in it somewhere, I think this should be of interest to most forum members. :o :guitar:

Available to all this Tuesday the 11th, at 9pm on Freeview channel 32, and better viewing than other repeats on the goggle box. :geek:

Danny, Calum and other members over 75 can run the risk of not having a T V licence!
P.S. You don't need to wear a mask when eating popcorn  stay safe and enjoy your self isolation 8-) :guitar: :guitar:
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

Robert,
I watched this on the telly, from my garden, looking through a neighbour's window, whilst sipping a lovely South African, fortified sherry, in the dark. And, my advice would be, dodge it, and save yourself two hours, that you, otherwise, ain't getting back. Instead, tune into episode 3 of Ken Burn's Country Music documentary, entitled, The Hillbilly Shakespeare. I think it's on iPlayer, but I can't be sure, my neighbour kept changing the channel.

Do you know Malcolm, I've actually made the pilgrimage to Buckfast Abbey  An episode of Rab C was filmed there and I was one of the unit drivers. In fact I can be seen, for an eighth of a nanosecond, as a van driver that gives Rab and Jamsie a lift. Just to almost bring this back on topic, I was sporting a splendid quiff at the time, better than Tom Hiddleston's in the aforementioned film, but alas, you can't see it for the bunnet
