Brilliant Allan. Where can we hear more of your stuff. You should be posting more.

Thanks John but I don’t know if ,at my stage of life , I could cope with a push/pull Emmons weight.
Thanks to all for your kind comments. Mick , Steel is not my main instrument , I play guitar in a gigging 50s band I run , and can’t spend enough time on Pedal Steel now to play at a standard to my satisfaction. However I’m trying to get at least a couple of hours practice everyday so perhaps I can post some more stuff in future.

Alan, you are like a lot of musicians in trying to get to the own satisfaction point which never arrives. You have shown that you have a good style, accurate and a great tone and put me to shame. I want to hear more. 130 views in a short time is good. Put them on the British Steelies Facebook page and I'm sure you will get a lot more good responses. Keep them coming.

Thanks again Mick , I’ve just listened to some of your stuff and there’s nothing to be ashamed of , quite the opposite, there’s lots you should be proud of. I must admit to not knowing about the Facebook page but as I said I will post some more things. On another note it’s a pity some more British quote “ Top Players” are not contributing to this forum , if Paul Franklin posts things on the USA forum why is it not happening here? Answers on a postcard or pm please if you think it may upset anyone.
