Haha yeah I’ve noticed that my index finger is more arched than most other players - it just feels natural to me, and makes me feel as if I’m more in control of the bar

I don't know left from right. Nothing wrong with your bar hand... it's the other one that's not so pretty, but if it works, it works. Wish I had ears as good as yours though. I'm not sure I would ever be able to figure that break out, without considerable help...
