David as far as getting the right sound for steel guitar on recording you have cracked it! Imho....

Hi John Thank you. I still haven't got round to soldering my pick up wires yet. George Ls 12 string 5-1 wired to a Single coil at the moment. Every now and then I have to give them a twist. Still using the same set up Focusrite Scarlett, Reaper, Sandford reverb vst and rea Eq that comes with reaper and SIT strings that come from your good self. And a blood great fan to stop me from melting. Dave
