Pedal Steel Ballad

Here's one I did a while back; I thought it might appeal to some of the BSS.

Nice Gary, using a combination of B6 and E9 pedals. Out of curiosity, it looks like you have your E lower on RKR and E raise on RKL? As you probably know I re-rodded my steel from Universal to Ext E9, but left my E changes as they were for Universal setup. Seems easier to me than having them on the left knee, though I've always had my E's on the right knee so can't really compare, what you're used to works best I guess. Watching you play that I'm kinda missing what you can do with the B6 pedals, though not enough to convert it back!

Thanks Steve and Geoff.

Geoff: Yes, I have the E raise/lower on my right knee (used to be on my left with the Emmons E9). Yes, what you can get used to. As regards E9/B6 universal, I rarely play stuff that can be identified as either (although here I do). I just like the possibilities of the universal tuning regardless of the old-time E9/C6 distinction, which is almost completely irrelevant to the way I think about music. But, having said that, this video was kind of demonstrating that I can do it if I feel like it. I just don't very often.

Thanks guys!
