Postby GuitarMathew » Fri Oct 09, 2020 10:00 am

Hey y'all,

Here is me introducing my new Mullen G2! (Bought it from Kurt Frei, build in 2018)
Just a quick and short video with me noodling on the new Axe.

Best regards,

Sounds nice, Mathew. That's quite a collection of tasty guitars you have now. Is there a favourite?
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

Hi Danny,

I only got two Steel Guitars, so don't worry about me having too many guitars. I think my fiancé won't even allow me to, so there is that.
Anyways, I have now the Mullen G2 & my old Zumsteel. I prefer to have a guitar where the builder is still active so that I can replace my parts whenever needed, especially when COVID-19 is over I will have more gigs and I don't want to rely on parts that I need to search from different sellers. When it comes to playing preference, I think I don't really have a favourite. Every guitar/brand has their own pros and cons. But when it comes to adjust your set-up (copedent) then I would definitely choose Mullen over all other brands. Tonewise I also don't have a preference, I think I like the more warm tone guitars such as the Zumsteel, Emmons & Mullen, but also like the other brands out there! :guitar:

Very interesting to know, Mathew, thanks for that, and I hope you get plenty of gigs with those great sounding guitars when the dust has settled :guitar:
