Interesting batch yet again, Gary.
Loved the chordal hymn, and the intonation was excellent up the stoorie end, in the Hi G one (btw, the stoorie end is the aptly named, by Willie Gamble no less, higher reaches of the guitar, where only the brave do venture. Darn sarf it would equate to the dusty end of the guitar). Amusing subtitles, too, on that one. The last piece, for some reason, conjured up an image of plate spinning.
Do you mic up, or is it a line out? Sounds good, whatever.

Hi Danny

I'm glad you mentioned the sound, in fact very glad indeed. On Hymn and Hi G I mic'd up my Peavey Session 500 and then imported it into the video for the first time, instead of putting up with the mic in my Lumix G80 camera. This took me many many hours of inventing ever-new obscenities to hurl at my computer. I had to learn Imovie and Garageband and then how to replace the audio track. In the meantime, both of the aforementioned programmes stopped working which forced me to update my Mac to Caterina which took hours and (surprise) deactivated existing programmes such as Word and Logic which I now have to purchase again (good ole Apple eh!!). Having done all of that I was left with the sound of a mic'd up Peavey, which numerous people have commented positively on, but I don't much care for it (I prefer the Peavey DI'd). Anyway, it's definitely a faltering step forward, but next time I'll try mic-ing up the Traynor valve amp instead, but then I have the problem with whiney top strings (unless they are less than a week old) to contend with. Don't you love being a steel player!!

Ha, ha! I think everyone who sits down at the steel is a person that likes to go by the north face.
I fully sympathise with your grief at Mac backwards incompatibility. I used to work in a small studio that ran a TDM ProTools set up, and a combination of this aforementioned incompatibility, inability to easily upgrade parts and high (for that modest studio) cost, made us jump ship to PC and Cubase Nuendo.
Regardless of your problems you're getting a good result.
