Something for the weekend sir?

Postby Gary James Peters » Fri Oct 02, 2020 6:23 pm

Hi All

I used to wonder how you became the most annoying person in the world...now I know. The secret is to produce endless music on a daily basis which you then inflict on others and expect them to rave about it. I became that person...and, of course, blame COVID (for the time being), but will no doubt have to invent more sophisticated excuses in the future (assuming there is one...future that is, excuses are eternal).

As I'm away in London for the weekend, I'm going to be temporarily separated from my instrument of torture for a while so I'll inflict this little piece of very avant-garde funk on you in the interim.

It's close to the far side, but not enough to preclude you from dancing to the funky rhythms...and at least it's not the long version!

Have a good weekend (you know where the delete button is after all).

Some distressing harmonies in there, Gary
In the words of John Ottway, 'Cor baby, that's really free', but, I've got to confess, I'm struggling to apply my version of The Twist to this groove.

Distressing!!??

Ok, yes, pretty harsh, but I had a difficult childhood.

Surprised you couldn't feel the groove though.

Just distressing in the sense of the dissonant harmonies and the tension therein. Certainly got my blood pressure rising. As for my inability to feel the groove, I confess to being Mr Whitebread, in the toe tapping dept.
Still enjoying the further adventures though, please keep them up!
