Lucy Kitchen - Charis (Live)

As some of you were interested in some of the steel playing I did on Lucy Kitchen's album I thought I'd share this live performance I did with Lucy the other day (on a tune that didn't actually have steel on the album) but got to do as the encore with her.

Was nice to stretch a bit myself and even solo over some slightly unusual chord voicings (from 3:16).

Interesting line up; Female singer songwriter, a cello and a PSG That's some heavy emotional content in there. I hope you didn't perform any numbers in D minor (the saddest of all keys), the audience would've been in bits.

Funnily enough Danny we did do a Gm tune and it was pretty sad! It's called 'Anchor' and it's on her album (and there is steel on it). We left the cello out though so people didn't start jumping out of windows!

Ah thanks Henry! It was a nice tune to experiment with some different ideas on the fly. How is it all going with you? Was great to meet you and see you guys at Truck festival last year (where does the time go?).
