I found this clip on the shop website from about 3 years ago (I'm about 3 stone lighter now!).
We had this steel in as a a result of a part exchange.
Set up was 3 X 1 Emmons.
I usually play 3 X 5 Emmons so you can see I'm struggling from time to time!
Several snippets of various tunes here.
Amp used was a tiny Roland cube 10 but is copes with the steel no problem.
Steel sold in less than a week!

Tim, what's the idea of the pedal rod attached to the Vol. pedal?

The pot is fitted under the guitar body and is operated from the volume pedal by the rod. Simples.

Thanks, I guessed that but I wonder what the idea was rather than having the conventional foot volume pedal.
It still means having one to move the pedal rod.

One less cable? Maybe not.

Yes, Ken. Who cares where the pot is? One foot to move it, wherever it is, however it is moved. No cord to break either. Pretty good idea actually. It obviously didn't catch on, but it was a decent idea nevertheless.

Mine was a sidekick, identical except for the volume pedal, it was the first steel I had that I didn't make myself. It was a cracking little guitar and I wish I still had it. Yes I did add a couple of knee levers. As you can see it was many moons ago.
