A few years ago the topic was changing pitch of a backing track. I think it Basil H was the person who recommended the programme I downloaded. It was perfect. I had it for trial period, and now I've
changed my Computer and I've lost it, and I can't remember what it was called. I would be most grateful for any help.

Hi Dave, I use Music Creator PRO 24, been using it for a long time now.
It works well on MIDI file, and you can also change the instrument on each track.
I think it's a later version of Cakewalk Pro which I used after using BIAB as the endings on BIAB allways seemed to stop too abruptly and I needed to elongate the endings.

Also try "The Amazing Slow Downer" - reduces speed for transcription/copying/working out what the hell he just played - and it can increase or reduce pitch as well. I've been using it for a few years to good effect. It even helps on DH's stuff!
